On January 8, 2021, the Manitoba Government began issuing a second payment of $5,000 to eligible applicants that applied for the Bridge Grant between November 16, 2020 and December 31, 2020. Recipients will receive a second $5,000 whereas Bridge Grant for Home Based Businesses will receive a payment equal to their 2020 payment up to $5,000.
Recipients do not need to reapply and the payments will be automatically sent. Email notifications are being sent out. The payment is considered taxable business income.
